What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis is a process where water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane, and water is broken apart at the molecular level and anything that is not either hydrogen or oxygen is rejected, then the hydrogen and oxygen are joined agian. Forming pure water.
